I just love these dainty, elegant engagement rings from EidelPrecious.  Eidel means "precious" and is the middle name of this amazing jewellery designer.

The best word to describe this jewelry would be "delicate". 

They use tiny diamonds for the rings and sets them using quite sophisticated and unusual technique known as "cat`s claw".   Cat Claw is a very small 4-claw setting where claws are almost invisible and look more like pave.  This method is really unique and allows diamonds to stand out; you wouldn`t see gold trims, just sparkling diamonds! 

EidelPrecious is very fond of sapphires as center stones. They exist in so many hues and I can`t decide which one I like the best...

I met an amazing chef at the First Comes Love Bridal Expo and wanted to share her details.  Helen has a background in French Fine Dining and offer cooking lessons.

One of my favourite ideas that Helen has is offering an MYO Wedding Cake.  What a wonderful opportunity for your Aunty, Mother, Sister, Best Friend to be able to make your wedding cake that looks fabulous, tastes great and most importantly contains so much love!  It is also extremely affordable!  I was lucky enough to be able to sample Helens White Chocolate, Grand Marnier & Raspberry Cake - pure heaven on earth!!!

Helen hosts french cooking classes at a rate of $55/hour (2 persons max).  What an interesting idea for birthday gifts, wedding gifts, anniversary gifts for your family and friends (or even yourself)!

Helen has also put together a corporate package for team building events.  If anyone is looking for a fabulous and delicious team building activity for the cooler months - what could be better then learning to Confit Duck Leg with orange-anise sauce followed by Rum & Raisin Tarte Tatin with home made icecream!

Unless you and your fiancé are professional models (or you have a camera crazy partner like myself), it is unlikely you will have had much experience in front of a camera.  Trust me when I say that the average wedding day produces 800+ photos and you will be in most of them!

An engagement shoot is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, work out what feels good and looks good for you and also get to know the photographer so you can forget about it all on the actual wedding day.

Not to mention it’s a great way to have fun with your fiancé, and get some great shots of the two of you!

Today I went along to the "First Comes Love" Expo at the Oxford Hotel.  It was a sweet little event that was created with much love and attention.

The collection of wedding suppliers was adorable and I had a wonderful opportunity to meet some very special people that I will be taking the time to talk to and possibly add to my preferred suppliers listing. 

With such a little venue and many brides to be in attendance, I only took a handful of photos.  Given the title of 'alternative' bridal expo, I have given the photos an aged look to them.

Today I went along to the Perth Bridal Expo at Burswood.  This was an opportunity for me to meet and review some of my preferred suppliers, as well as see new and interesting trends in the wedding industry.

I have to say, I was surprised at the sheer number of attendees!  The expo was full of brides, bridesmaids, mother-in-laws and one or two hesitant and overwhelmed grooms.

The name Küste Kombis was born from a long discussion session where hundreds of names got thrown on the table.
Küste  (pronounced “koo – st – u”) means coast in German and we saw it quite fitting to incorporate a piece of the history of the Volkswagen Kombi into our business name.

I am passionate about creating films my clients love. 

As a kid I loved playing with video camera’s. I remember when my parents would hire a camera from the local camera store to make a home movie, and I wouldn’t stop filming all day!  When I got a little bit older, I continued to pursue my interest in film, and purchased a small cam corder.  I went crazy making every sort of film, movie and video clip.  Any excuse to use my camera! Eventually I purchased a professional quality camera and not long after, Orriss Films was born.
