Today I went along to the Perth Bridal Expo at Burswood. This was an opportunity for me to meet and review some of my preferred suppliers, as well as see new and interesting trends in the wedding industry.
I have to say, I was surprised at the sheer number of attendees! The expo was full of brides, bridesmaids, mother-in-laws and one or two hesitant and overwhelmed grooms.
I did meet a few suppliers and contacts that I felt a great connection too and would love to work with in the future. A couple in particular are:
1. Clare Henderson - Marriage Celebrant
Phone: 08 9371 0685 or 0404 788 885
My style of service is professional, fresh, personal, and relaxed. I'm available for Weddings, Same Sex/Love Commitments, Renewal of Vows, Baby Namings and Funerals.
I'm happy to meet obligation free, to see if you both feel comfortable with me. We can discuss the style of ceremony you would like to achieve. Whether it be simple yet meaningful, or more elaborate - which can include children, rituals, blessings, poems etc.
I'll supply you with different options to choose from, write a pesonalised ceremony, finalise legal paperwork, provide my own PA system, and presentation copy of your ceremony with ribbon, enclosed in the official Wedding Certificate envelope.
Living 5kms north from the CBD, I'm happy to travel north and south of the river. My fee is fair and reasonable, mid-level range.
I would love to have the opportunity to meet with you, and look forward to hearing from you soon!
2. Kuste Kombis - A fully restored 1966 classic split screen Kombi!
Küste Kombis is a business created with a recipe that includes the love for Kombis and the joy they bring to people, the recognition of the demand for a West Coast Kombi charter vehicle and the desire to provide everyone with the opportunity to experience the Kombi feeling.
The name Küste Kombis was born from a long discussion session where hundreds of names got thrown on the table.
Küste (pronounced “koo – st – u”) means coast in German and we saw it quite fitting to incorporate a piece of the history of the Volkswagen Kombi into our business name.
3. Orriss Films - Cinematic Wedding Photography
I am passionate about creating films my clients love.
As a kid I loved playing with video camera’s. I remember when my parents would hire a camera from the local camera store to make a home movie, and I wouldn’t stop filming all day! When I got a little bit older, I continued to pursue my interest in film, and purchased a small cam corder. I went crazy making every sort of film, movie and video clip. Any excuse to use my camera! Eventually I purchased a professional quality camera and not long after, Orriss Films was born.
I consider it an incredible privilege to be a part of such a special moment in a persons life. The joy that surrounds each wedding inspires me to create films that can capture that moment, and preserve it. I would love to think that their kids and even grandkids would be able to look back on their parents wedding day and experience the moment just as they did.
I aim to make my films an individual expression of each couple. I want people to watch my films and feel like they are not only a part of the day, but a part of that couples journey.
